GUCCI SOHO Disco Review

GUCCI SOHO Disco Review

One of Gucci’s most popular designs is the Soho Disco bag. The interlocking GG embossed camera bag was first released in 2012, and it continues to be in high demand. There have been rumors that it will be phased away, but Gucci has proven that this is not the case by keeping it in their permanent bag line until now.

A simple rectangular crossbody style with an adjustable strap is featured. She’s available in three colors: black (which I have), nude, and red. Gucci has occasionally released limited-edition seasonal colors. Bags like this, in my opinion, are timeless and traditional designs that never go out of style. Although we’re seeing a lot more tiny bags like this one, I believe this is the original camera bag style that started the trend.

It has a top zip closure with a non-removable leather tassel and is made of natural grain leather with light gold-toned hardware. The interior includes one main compartment with two slip pockets and is lined with cotton linen. It includes a black leather tassel from the zip and gentle muted gold hardware. The leather feels quite high-quality, and the pebbled pattern suggests that it will be extremely hard-wearing and long-lasting.

It has one large compartment on the interior and two little slide pockets woven onto the main fabric. A little leather tag with the brand name in the same leather as the bag is attached to one of the pockets. The off white interior fabric feels sturdy and durable, and I believe it would stand up to our daily bag contents.

Overall, the Gucci Soho Disco is undoubtedly one of the best designer camera bags available. It’s timeless, adaptable, generously sized, and light. If you’re looking for a red or neutral crossbody bag and don’t mind the fact that the tassel isn’t removable, the Soho Disco should be at the top of your list.
