It is evident that the goal in constructing the new Portofino was to stay true to the previous model’s style, as the aesthetics scarcely alter and the mechanical and dynamic innovations are the most significant.
The front bumper, which has a slightly more aggressive and athletic appearance, as well as the side moldings and the rear, which has a very modest update, are the only cosmetic modifications.

The M in the name stands for “Modificatto,” which refers to the house’s automobiles that have advanced mechanically and in terms of performance while preserving their style.
This GT category spider is driven by a 3.8 V8 Turbo engine that produces 620 horsepower at 7,500 RPM, which is 20 horsepower more than the Portofino we previously knew. 760 Nm is the maximum torque. The new engine complies with Euro-6D rules and includes a new particulate filter, among other features. The new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission replaces the previous 7-speed transmission.

This gearbox will be utilized in other Ferrari models as well, and will be standard in new Ferrari cars from now on. It’s a more modern and compact gearbox that saves 8 kg over the old 7-speed model. The entire package weighs 1,545 kg.
It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.45 seconds (the Portofino took 3.5 seconds), but the significant difference from the previous model is when it keeps accelerating and reaches 200 km/h in 9.8 seconds, one second faster than the Portofino. The top speed is 320 kilometers per hour.
Despite being a car that prioritizes comfort and performance, one of the most notable new features is the GT spider’s five-position steering wheel (Wet, Comfort, Sport, RACE, and ESC-Off). It now features a RACE mode to increase driving enjoyment.
It includes Side Slip Control, a sixth-generation stability control that now assures superior vehicle dynamics, particularly at the exit of corners.
At the equipment level, heated and ventilated seats are now available. New ADAS driver assistance systems (adaptive cruise control, predictive emergency braking, blind spot detector, automatic high beam, traffic sign recognition, 3D peripheral vision, or rear traffic alert) are available, and the interior features a full HD screen with Split View, which allows you to see two different contents depending on which seat of the car you are in. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included.
When digital clocks, 7-inch and full color, are a possibility, the co-driver can carry his own. You can choose your own music, review the navigation system map, or look for information on a specific site of interest from that screen.
