The Ferretti Yachts 1000 is the largest model ever manufactured by the Ferretti Yachts factory.
Is a 100-foot yacht that aims to provide a series of redesigned places that alter the stay on board. Owners and guests will now be able to enjoy their stay in this creative and functional aft deck area, as well as a huge flybridge connected directly to the foredeck via gangways.
Every aspect, both inside and out, has been engineered to provide a high level of comfort and well-being. The Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering Department of the Ferretti Group, led by engineer Piero Ferrari, collaborated on this particular model, which features an exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and a new interior design idea by Ideaeitalia.
The Ferretti Yachts 1000 is the shipyard’s first wide-hulled yacht, however, its outward appearance is similar to that of recent models in the line. It has a sporty look to it, with lateral glass structures in the back. The deck is made of teak and spans all three levels. It’s also the group’s first boat to incorporate carbon in its superstructure and roof.
Ferretti Yachts’ elegance is a notion that runs through all of the shipyard’s models. The interior of the Ferretti Yachts 1000 is dominated by adaptable internal areas, thanks to a modular layout that allows owners to organize their own space in a variety of ways. Furthermore, its stunning architecture allows the maximum amount of natural light to penetrate through its huge windows, resulting in privileged and amazing sea views.
Two contrasting interior environments have been presented by the designer Ideaeitalia: the classic, which features gentle, traditional tones and subtle contrasts, and the contemporary, which features strong colors and more urban and modern influences.
The front beach has been rebuilt to include 40 m2 of living area for the owners and their visitors to enjoy. There is a huge saloon on the inside with direct access to the cockpit and bathing platform, which is a completely novel design because it allows for boarding even when the bathing platform is underwater. An electronic wall opening mechanism reveals the bar and connects it to the dining room, in addition to 10 m2 of fully equipped galley space.
But that’s not all; if the owner so desires, additional space can be created with a laundry and storage area adjacent to the galley. On the main deck, the Ferretti Yachts 1000 contains a captain’s cabin, crew quarters that may seat up to 5 persons, and two double staterooms. All of this makes this a great yacht for family cruising as well as charters.
When the platform is lowered, three steps on each side open, extending the cabin stairs. Ferretti patented a design that was wholly developed by the company’s engineering department. A separate entrance to the garage may be found to starboard, which can hold a Williams Sportjet 445 tender, a jet ski, and even two Seabobs.
A glass and steel fence surrounds the aft end of the huge cockpit, which features two wide comfy sofas and a magnificent central table that may be used as a coffee or dining table. The wheelhouse, which has a salon at the stern, a dining room to port, a bar to starboard, and a helm station in the bow, is accessed via two side staircases. The yachtsman may easily access the amazing and spectacular foredeck, which has a distinctive and original design, from the wheelhouse.
The Ferretti Yachts 1000 is powered by two MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines with a total output of 2638 horsepower (optional). It has a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots (preliminary data). On request, a gyroscopic stabilization system and stabilizer wings can be installed on this premium boat to keep it as quiet and comfortable as possible while on the water.
